The general public, as well as those with a professional interest, are invited to join the American Society for Psychical Research. Multi-year discounts are available for some categories.

Associates

Associates support the Society and receive discounts to talks, conferences, and special events.

Join as an Associate for $70 for 1 year, $135 for 2 years, $200 for 3 years.

Associate/spouse discounts are available.

Fellows

Fellows enjoy all benefits of joining the ASPR for $100, and help support the work of the Society with an additional $30 tax-deductible contribution over the basic rate. Multi-year discounts are available.

Sponsors enjoy all benefits of joining the ASPR for $2,500, and offer support for the work of the Society with a large tax-deductible contribution.

Students and Seniors

Full-time students enrolled at accredited secondary schools, colleges, or universities are eligible to join the ASPR at the reduced cost of $60. Copy of student I.D. required.

Seniors (over 65) on fixed income may also join the ASPR for $60.

Please add $20 if you are a student or senior on fixed income and live in a foreign country.

Patrons and Founders

The Society invites tax deductible gifts from Patrons ($5,000) and Founders ($10,000) for the ongoing work of the Society. (If you wish to use the online donation button to become a Patron or Founder, only a paypal account can process this online. Credit cards, checks, or money orders can be used to become a Patron or Founder by using the mail-in form below.)

Benefactors

Contributions to the ASPR in the form of donations or bequests over $50,000 have been of substantial significance in the life of the Society. Please contact Patrice Keane, Executive Director of the ASPR, if you wish to become a Benefactor of the Society.

Contributions

The Society's scientific and educational work in the exploration of psychic phenomena are supported primarily by fees, donations and bequests from associates, fellows, patrons, founders, benefactors, and other friends of the Society.

Donations and property given or bequested to the Society are applied by the Board of Trustees strictly to the purposes for which the Society has been incorporated. The Society is a nonprofit organization, and gifts made to it are deductible for income tax purposes.

The form that such donations should take when by will is the following:

"I give, devise and bequeath to the American Society for Psychical Research, Inc., a corporation organized under the laws of the State of New York, the sum of......dollars for the corporate purposes for said Society."
